As an alternative to the traditional door key, PAC’s proximity ID tokens are used by millions of people as an easy and reliable means of gaining access to their homes, communal entrances, places of work and other secured access points such as carpark barriers and turnstiles. PAC tokens can be programmed into any of PAC’s residential or commercial access control systems so that the user’s movement can be monitored and the building protected. The token need only be held near a PAC door reader for the code to be read (access will be granted or denied within 0.5 of a second). And of course, if a PAC token is lost or stolen, it is easily replaced. Lost tokens can be deleted from the access control system. These tokens are compatible with PAC, Easikey and OneProx readers.

Transom Housings

Transom Housings are a box section, that houses a Magnetic Lock or pair of Locks, and can be mounted on a Doors Header for Single or Double Doors, or vertically on Single Doors.

By using a Transom Housing, a number of common problems can be overcome.

1. Any form of Electronic Security Lock, would normally be fitted on the Secure Side of the Door or Area you are protecting (commonly known as the Secure Side). Sometimes this is not possible, but by using a Transom Housing, you can install the Lock on the unprotected side of the door with all the cabling concealed.

2. By using a Transom Housing and Maglock, the overall appearance of the Installation can be greatly improved. Outward opening Doors would normally have a Maglock hanging from the Door Header, in some instances this can be a hazard with sharp edges, especially on low doors, using a Transom Housing effectively lowers the Doors Header slightly.
